Who We Are

Charge Surveys Ltd is a Traffic Surveys data collection provider, offering a wide range of traffic survey services using our specialised equipment alongside an experienced and driven team.

From single speed surveys to larger multi-junction counts – our dedicated team are on hand to collect and present detailed traffic reports to help you understand your projects current traffic conditions.

Since our inception, we have been both ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) certified and have obtained the NRSWA Streetworks accreditation – recognising the effective and efficient processes we use when collecting high quality data, whilst ensuring safety for all remains a top priority.

Our customers include property developers, transport planners, architects, local authorities, homeowners, and the general public.

Our Team

Whilst there are other team members working behind the scenes – the main individuals who oversee the planning, administration and customer engagement are George, Charlie, and Emma.

Charlie Payne

Director

Charlie manages and implements most surveys we carry out, having developed excellent in-depth industry knowledge of how to undertake Traffic Surveys in the safest and most efficient manner over the years. His attention to detail is astounding.

George Payne

Director

George oversees the day-to-day planning side of Charge, compiling quotes and briefs for clients whilst managing business relations – but is equally not afraid to get his hands dirty! Most ATC surveys are supervised and carried out onsite by George too.

Emma Wagstaff

Administration Manager

Emma is Charge’s Administration Manager, responsible for overseeing the bulk of the analysis that Charge Surveys carries out – whether that be plotting our Lambeth Methodology surveys onto the maps or formatting ATC spreadsheets to suit your needs!
